Powder 1:0 Photo Workshop -take your camera to Engelberg this winter

This winter Hotel Hoheneck together with photographers Felix Oppenheim and Fredrik Schenholm arranges ski photo workshops in the alpine Engelberg. It is a unique chance to take your photography to another level in a company of fast skiers on snow-covered mountain tops.

All workshops run for at least four days and involve inspiring teaching together with active skiing on the slopes. Felix and Fredrik share their experience of camera settings, composition and communication between a photographer and a skier. The session leaves some free time for skiing with your family and friends.

Fredrik Schenholm

Felix Oppenheim started skiing in mid-70s as a skibum in Arlberg region in Austria. His photography appeared in travel catalogues by SNÖresor, Alpresor and Sportresor as well as in a number of magazines such as Åka Sidor, Skiing and Powder. He has made a couple of expeditions to Kashmir in Himalayas,  one of those with the purpose to record the world’s first successful descent from a 8000 meters high mountain top, Hidden Peak, carried out by an extreme skiing predecessor, Sylvain Saudan. In addition to this Felix has made several expeditions from Tierra del Fiego to the Alps. www.felixoppenheim.com

Fredrik Schenholm’s realm is the on a mountain top with a camera in hand and a skier on the focus. His photography from the Mount Everest, Svalbard and Ecuador has been published in the journals all over the world. Fredrik’s range of customers include such companies as Haglöfs, Black Dimond, Bergans of Norway, Brant, Fri Flyt and Powder, to name a few.
